A few weeks back I asked a very important question: What is your dream equestrian vacation? I got some amazing ideas from every corner of the globe that I had to compile and share with you.

We all miss our horses when on vacation, so why not have some horsey fun on vacation too? Here's hoping that your travel partner has the same equine appetite!

CROSS COUNTRY IN IRELAND

If you guessed galloping through the green isles you would be correct! This was a fan favorite and I can certainly understand why. This island nation is known for its outdoorsy horse people.

With miles of countryside for the taking, it makes sense that some of the most iconic equestrian brands have come out of Ireland. Maybe catch a castle or two while you are out and about?

Horses and Paris… A winning combination if you ask me. The most iconic sellier sponsors a weekend full of high profile showjumping. The event boasts a CSIO 5* and many other equestrian themed events.

All throughout the city you can see equestrian elements throughout art and sculpture. The Hermes Seller is also located in Paris in case you want to score a saddle pad with the iconic monogram.

GUEST RANCHES

We all want to live out our ‘Yellowstone’ dreams sometime. This is also an awesome option if you want to travel within the United States. There are tons of these ranches throughout the United States and each can provide their own unique experience.

Some are actual working ranches, some focus on environmental preservation, some areagricultural and some are just hospitality focused. This route is a 'choose your own adventure' approach to equestrian travel.

FOX HUNTING

Ever since I slipped on my first hunt coat I’ve dreamed of going on a real deal foxhunt. Tweed, stone wall and rolling greens hills is all I want for just one day.

There are hunts still in the Unites States as well as in Europe. You may want to search your local area you might be surprised to find a group in your own backyard!

FERIA DEL CABALLO

It's no secret that I have a love for Spain. Ask anyone that knows me and they can tell you.
I have an even greater love for some of the incredible blood lines of horses from the Iberian Peninsula.

An event that celebrates this in a grande fashion is the Feria del Caballo in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. This Springtime festival celebrates all things Andalusia and Andalusian horses.

ICELANDIC HORSE RIDING

These fluffy equines and their rugged homelands make for an unforgettable experience. What better way to explore the Incredible landscape of Iceland than on the back of an equally beautiful Icelandic Pony.

POLO IN ARGENTINA

Ralph Lauren may be your first thought when we say Polo but I am here to change that. The history of Polo in its home country of Argentina is beautiful in itself.
